Looking for a lovely keepsake or great gift? What better than offering a wish. These real dandelion necklaces fit the bill. Choose one, two, three or four seeds encased in glass. Wonderful memories of blowing dandelion fluff and making a wishes when we were little. As with my real flower jewelry, I encase real dandelion fluff (seeds) between two oval glass cabochons creating a terrarium of sorts. With this pendant you can take a piece of nature with you wherever you go.

I was recently told that the dandelion is considered the military national flower and is representative of children of parents in the military. It's the plant that puts down roots almost anywhere, unpretentious, survivor of many climates, the roots are strong, it's hardym, upright, and they are ready to fly with the breezes to new adventures. So, befitting of many military brats.

Please keep in mind that the photographed item is a representation of what you will receive. As with all handmade, no two are ever exactly alike.

PROCESS: I use the Tiffany style method of copper foiling glass, free form hand solder, apply patina and finish with a high gloss hand polish.

CUSTOM/PERSONALIZED: Most all of the jewelry I make can be customized. If for example, if you would like a specific number of seeds encased to represent family or friends, I'm happy to oblige. Just leave me let me note saying so in "note to buyer" at checkout.
